Plain flour 400g
Boiling water 240g
Spring onions 30g
Salt, oil.
Method
1. In a bowl with flour, pour in boiling water. Use a chopstick or spatula to stir and mix them evenly. Knead into a smooth dough. Cover and leave for 10 minutes.
2. Gentle knead again, divide into 60g dough each. Roll into ball shape.
3. Flatten and roll into rectangle shape for each dough. Spread oil, salt and spring onions evenly.
Fold it up, cut them but leaving the top bit untouched ( refer picture below). Open it up again, roll it up. Swirl them until the end bit tucked underneath. Let rest for 5 minutes.
4. Using your palm, press downward gently to flatten it. Roll and flatten into a round shape.
5. Heat oil on the pan, on low heat, turning both sides frequently until it turns golden brown.
